Image Guide for House Portraits

The quality of your house portrait hinges on the image you provide. To ensure your artwork is truly picture-perfect, please review these essential guidelines:

  • Capture your house in clear daylight.
  • Use a high-quality camera or smartphone.
  • Ensure the house is free from large shadows.
  • Avoid applying any filters; this ensures accurate color representation.
  • Keep garage doors closed.
  • Clear cars from the driveway and front of the house.
  • Prepare the front yard for the photo.
  • Conceal rubbish and trash cans.
  • Ensure garden and water hoses are out of sight.
  • For best results, photograph from the driveway's end or the street, directly facing the house.
  • For all portraits except sketch portraits, please avoid submitting black and white or scanned photos

No Photo on Hand? No Problem! If you're unable to take a photo yourself, we also accept images from real estate websites (e.g., Zillow, Trulia) or Google Street View (Google Maps).

A Quick Reminder: What you see in your uploaded image is what will be captured in your custom portrait. For minor elements, we may be able to remove them if you make a note in your order. Otherwise, please ensure your photo shows the house exactly as you'd like it depicted.
